The Friends of Witherle Library invite you to join them in support of the oldest public library in Maine, founded in 1855. The Friends contribute to the enhancement of library operations in many ways: raising funds for non-budgeted equipment and materials, presenting programs of interest to the community, publishing the Friends Newsletter, and providing volunteers for various library projects.
